It’s been a little over seven months since Ciara and Russell Wilson paid a record-breaking $25 million for their new home in Denver, after Russell was traded by the Seattle Seahawks to the Broncos. And it’s been 233 days since their 11,000-square foot former Seattle home was listed for a million more.

The Wilsons’ 6 bedroom, 5 bath home is located in Bellevue, Washington, a city which balances being an economic hub (it’s the home of T-Mobile, birthplace of Amazon, and home to a Google campus), while still maintaining its suburban charm. The waterfront property lies across Lake Washington from Seattle and offers 180-degree views thanks to a number of windows across the back side of the building.

The two-story home features a number of traditional elements, including classical etchings in the columns outside of the front door. The design element is mirrored in the mantels of the homes’ five fireplaces as well as the crown molding, cabinetry, and island in the kitchen. The house also features a gorgeous, delicate wrought iron design framing the spiral staircase that extends up to the second floor — which houses five of the bedrooms — and down to the basement. A similar pattern adorns the front entrance and a back door that lies directly across the foyer, allowing guests to pass straight through the manicured backyard without having to see the rest of the house.

Additional classic touches include marble flooring across the main floor and both heavy wood accents and doors leading into a number of spaces — from the master bedroom to the in-home theater. But there are plenty of modern design elements to be found in the home as well. A mini recording studio, state of the art gym, separate yoga/dance studio, all effortlessly grace the space, too. And for those who have a few little ones, an adorable playroom with a full glass wall and door that allows parents to block out the noise while still keeping an eye out is also featured.

As for the bedrooms, the balance of modern and classic design is incorporated into each, where recess lighting, contemporary furniture, and a heather gray color palette on the walls live in harmony with some of the aforementioned traditional elements. Just as one may expect, the master suite features an amazing walk-in closet that boasts plenty of custom storage; and an equally impressive bathroom, with a soaking tub and double vanity.

A highlight upstairs is a semi-circle-shaped sitting area in the master that also hosts a matching sitting room downstairs, off the main living room. One of the bedrooms, which opens onto a balcony, seems to have been transformed into another living or family room, offering another view of the lake and the Seattle skyline.

Back downstairs, the kitchen offers views of the lake, which also allows tons of natural lighting to bathe the space, balancing the dark marble countertops. Here, the classic elements built into the wood accents are contrasted by stainless steel inlaid appliances.

The kitchen leads out to an outdoor cooking area and one of several entertaining spaces behind the house. From there, a walkway leads out to a secondary seating area, complete with a firepit and a state of the art, two-story treehouse featuring its own lounge area for the kids underneath. While the landscaping makes the most of the luxe mansion’s cliffside positioning, a flight of stairs also leads down to Lake Washington — where 164 feet of waterfront access is offered, including a dock.

Considering the other celebrity properties we’ve seen listed in New York and Los Angeles this year, at $26 million, Russell and Ciara’s suburban lakehouse sounds like a steal! You can take a look at the Carmen Gayton-held property (of WRE Seattle-Eastlake on realtor.com here.
