Quick question: Is it too early to be thinking of what we want for the holidays? We're already planning holiday gift lists, and Chrissy Teigen's dreamy cookware line better show up in a wrapped box with our name on it this December (hint, hint, friends and family).
You can find the cookbook author's new line of cookware at Target beginning September 30, according to The Star Tribune. The company announced this week that it will be the exclusive seller of the 40-piece collection.
"I've always wanted people to love what they've cooked from my books," Teigen posted on Twitter. "Creating a collection was a natural extension of my passion for food, and I am so excited for everyone to be proud of and truly love their kitchen and tools."
The more than 40-piece collection is rumored to include serving dishes, cutlery, glassware, pitchers, and cast iron Dutch ovens, which we can't wait to use to make Meatballs & Pasta Os, yogurt, and more comfort food. Prices will range from $4 to $140, according to Target.
The collection is Teigen's first product launch and the down-to-earth star seems to be a little nervous about it, which of course makes us love her even more.
"I've never been so nervous excited in my life," Teigen posted on Twitter. "I cannot believe I can finally say this is happening!!! Thank you for welcoming me and my entire family, @target fam!!!"
Here's a sneak peek of what you can expect from the collection.
The inspiration for the line came from Teigen's own wants in kitchen products. She told Target's blog she wanted to make sure everything felt unique and special, with a little bit of character. A couple of her favorites are the "go-to" knife and the organic plates and bowls.
"I think I'll cry when people start tagging me in Instagram photos of them filled with their delicious food!" says Teigen.
Oh, we'll definitely be tagging you in our Instagram photos — maybe when we make her corn fritters with hot honey? That is just one of the recipes that rumored to be in the Target-exclusive edition of her second cookbook, Cravings: Hungry for More.
