Chrissy Teigen Shows Off Her Newly-Renovated Kitchen in Beverly Hills (It’s Gorgeous!)
Cookbook author and social media food fave Chrissy Teigen and her family recently moved into the newly-renovated $17.5 million home they purchased last year in Beverly Hills. Among the rooms tailored to their lifestyle is the picture-perfect kitchen, ready for Chrissy’s steady stream of cooking videos.
While she called the kitchen a “work in progress” in her Instagram post, the modern marble and gold space created by interior designer Jake Arnold looks like an absolute dream — designed for people who love to cook and hang out. The space is centered on a marble-topped counter which holds built-in burners on one side and stool seating on the other. A white fixture holds the hood over the burners, while a gold winding chandelier balances the space out. Behind the counter, a matching marble wall with shelves holds dishes and the sink.
While the kitchen opens into the living room at one end of the counter, the other end brings you to a wall of cabinets (one of which, presumably is a refrigerator, given that is not visible elsewhere) with a few ovens. Parallel to the counter, a half-moon padded banquet provides seating at a marble table facing out toward sliding glass doors to their lawn.
The big windows plus the atrium-like ceiling in the living room it opens into seem to give it endless natural light, which should be great for Chrissy’s many cooking videos that she shares on Instagram. In fact, on Sunday night she showed off the dishes they were making in it to celebrate moving into the new house. But, lest it all seems too perfect, even celebrities with incredible kitchens, like Chrissy, run into issues. As she tried to pull her oven rack out to show off the cast iron pan full of “poor-man’s focaccia,” it rumbled and stuck, so she switched to just pulling out the pan itself.
