We Tested a Bunch Chrissy Teigen’s Cookware — Here Are the 3 Pieces We Liked Best

Here at Kitchn, we’re major fans of Chrissy Teigen’s recipes, her panache, and her overall down-home attitude about life. But what does she know about cookware? Turns out she’s put her name on a darn good collection that’s sold exclusively at one of everyone’s favorite retailers: Target (known for its, style, practicality, and affordable prices)! I recently got my hands on a bunch (as in, boxes and boxes full of the stuff!) of Chrissy’s pieces and, while I loved almost every single one, a few pieces jumped out at me as being key tools you’ll use time and time again.

These are the very best pieces in Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings line at Target.

Chrissy really got it when she named this the Everyday Pan. Ever since I tested it out, I’ve been using it every day! With its wide bottom, sloped sides, and big capacity it’s a fry pan, wok, and Dutch oven all in one. When I made Chrissy’s Crispy-Skinned Chicken with Lemon-Rosemary Sauce, it delivered the browning you’d expect from a good skillet, and was able to be popped into the oven to finish off the dish. For brunch, I used the pan for Chrissy’s Spicy Tomato Skillet Eggs with Proscuitto (the recipe comes with all her cookware) but also just plain ol’ sunny-side up eggs. It has a smooth nonstick finish that works like a charm — and you could basically just wipe out the pan after you use it. The two side handles make it easy to maneuver and place in the middle of the oven and they have silicone grips, which don’t get hot on the stovetop. Plus, it’s available in an on-trend light green as well as in gray.

I love everything about this porcelain-enameled cast iron Dutch oven. First of all, its square, which helps it sit neatly on the burner and is convenient for storage. Also, it’s not too big and it’s not too small, making it perfect for reasonably sized batches of soups, stews, and casseroles. It was the perfect pot for Chrissy’s Parmesan Minestrone; it simmered steadily, so I could go fold the laundry and not stay by the range, stirring constantly and turning the heat up and down. With its attractive sage green shade, brass lid handle, and Cravings emblazoned across the lid, it’s eye candy for your stovetop, too. And it’s just $50!

Wouldn’t you love to have a gorgeous stainless steel pan that you can cook and serve from? This one will do your cooking and your table proud without setting you back a bundle. It’s the ideal size and depth for something like a chicken simmered in wine sauce or shrimp Alfredo. To accent the steel, the handles and lid knob have a gold finish. While this pan isn’t nonstick or dishwasher-safe, the stainless steel is highly polished and cleans up without too much scrubbing.
