As a kid, I’d stare longingly at those deconstructed yogurt parfaits — you know the ones, with the brown label and the M&M’s or Oreos on top? My mother, not fooled by the yogurt side of the yogurt/candy hybrid, would take them out of the cart the moment I snuck them in.

Now, I’m an adult, with the power to buy whatever sweet treats I want, but I also have a fully formed prefrontal cortex, and understand that nutrients are pretty important. So I’ve found a way to have both.

When it’s the middle of the afternoon and I’m looking for something sweet, I reach for a Chobani Flip. It’s the best of both worlds: a delicious Greek yogurt that’s high in protein (it’s got 18% of the daily value) paired with crunchy, sweet toppings like cookie dough or peanut butter cup

What’s So Great About Chobani Flip Low-Fat Greek Yogurts?

In short, it tastes like it should be sold in the candy aisle — yet it isn’t. The nutrition facts vary by flavor, but most have around 10 grams of protein and are 150 calories (ICYI). Plus, there are enough flavors — I’ve counted 21! — to keep yourself excited.

There are nostalgic ones, like s’mores and coconut caramel cookie (a nod to Girl Scouts Samoas), as well as more trendy pairings, like my favorites: salted caramel crunch and chocolate haze craze

In the salted caramel crunch, caramel-flavored yogurt is topped with little bits of chocolate, toffee, and pretzels, making for a sweet and salty topping that keeps you on your toes; while in the haze craze, hazelnut-flavored yogurt is topped with actual chopped hazelnuts and chocolate for a snack reminiscent of eating Nutella from the jar with a spoon.

There are also fruity options like strawberry cheesecake and peach cobbler, and Chobani even released a new flavor for fall: pumpkin harvest crisp, with pumpkin spice yogurt, oatmeal pastry, and cinnamon frosting pieces. Whatever flavor you opt for, it will be indulgent and substantive, and show you a whole new side to Greek yogurt.

What’s the Best Way to Eat Chobani Flip Low-Fat Greek Yogurts?

I usually have one a day, around 3 p.m. It’s a snack I genuinely look forward to in the afternoon, and keeps me satiated until dinner. It doesn’t feel like I’m limiting myself — it’s not like I’m craving a Snickers, and instead, eating an apple. I still get to eat the chocolatey, sugary treat I want, but this time with a little protein to keep me satisfied until my next meal.
