10 Amazingly Brilliant Kitchen Organizers for $10 or Less
A place for everything and everything in its place. We love that saying — especially when you think of it in terms of kitchens. See, kitchens stock a lot of stuff. Probably more than most rooms. And things can get unwieldy, quickly. So we are pro organizers — just not the expensive ones. There’s no reason to spend a boatload of money on fancy bins or containers. Spend just a little bit and you can create the most perfect homes for all the odds and ends in your kitchens.
Here are 10 organizers we love that cost just $10 or less. Each one will free up space, make things easier to access, and become that place for whatever you’re storing.
1. Stainless Steel Mug Holder, $10
Mugs take up so much more cabinet space than you realize. Get ’em out of your cabinets and hang them from this under-shelf rack. It holds eight regular-sized mugs or four larger ones (for you serious coffee fanatics).
2. InterDesign Kitchen Sink Suction Holder, $7.50
Yes, this is technically designed to hold your sponge at your kitchen sink, but it does so much more than that. We’ve come up with a bunch of ways to use it in other rooms — most notably in your pantry and the refrigerator.
3. Joseph Joseph DrawerStore, $10
Perhaps the most brilliant drawer organizer we’ve ever seen, this little guy is narrower than most (by more than half!), so it works in skinny drawers or just frees up space in a larger one.
4. ClosetMaid Large Shelf, $10
Nearly every cabinet shelf can use a bonus shelf. With this extra riser, you can stack stuff without having to take everything out in order to reach the thing you need on the bottom.
You know all those little packs of ketchup, soy sauce, and mustard you have floating around in your junk drawer? They’re super annoying, right? This little holder will make them less annoying! Even if you don’t have a little condiment collection (what’s your secret?), you can put this to good use corralling thumbtacks, rubber bands, bag clips, and more.
6. Copco Non-Skid Lazy Susan, $9.50
Ask any professional organizer to name the most important organizing tool for any kitchen and nearly every one will say a lazy Susan. Use this in your fridge, in a cabinet, or on a pantry shelf and you’ll always be able to spin it around to see what’s in there. We like this one over others on the market because it has a non-skid base that keeps things from tumbling over.
The lids to pots and pans are probably the most difficult things to organize. This holder creates a filing system that allows you to store them vertically. No more tumbling towers of lids! Bonus: You can also use this for sheet pans or cutting boards.
8. Command Mop Holder, $7.50
No matter how carefully you rest your Swiffer against the wall, it’s going to fall over. It’s just a fact of life. Unless you have one of these. This Command product uses those famous sticky (yet removable!) strips to attach to the wall, and it holds brooms or mops that weigh up to four pounds.
9. Grocery Bag Storage Holder, $9
Even the most eco-conscious, reusable bag-loving shoppers among us probably still have a plethora of plastic bags laying around. Stash them neatly in this organizer and you can simply pull one out through a hole when you need one.
Lots of time, the backs of your kitchen cabinet doors go to waste. Hang this organizer on on a large door (or a wall in your pantry), and you’ll use that space and free up the drawer that used to hold all your foil, baggies, and parchment paper.
