This Super Popular Cookware Brand Just Launched a New Color That’ll Make You So Happy
I’m going to go out on a limb and assume you’d never seen a sage or perracotta saucepan before Caraway hit the scene. The direct-to-consumer cookware brand has a loyal fanbase (including our Editor-In-Chief, Faith, and yours truly!), thanks to their non-toxic ceramic cookware, but perhaps even more for their fun, playful colors. And at a time when we could all use a little bit of sunshine, they’ve launched their most radiant color yet: Meet Marigold, a vibrant, happy hue that’s all but guaranteed to spark joy in your kitchen!
As a proud owner of Caraway’s more neutral Cream cookware set, I keep the covered sauté pan on my range between uses, something I’d never think to do with a stainless steel pan. Caraway’s pieces are so gorgeous, just imagine how Marigold would pop in your kitchen! The rich, yellow-orange tone isn’t asking to hide away in a cluttered cabinet, but is instead bold enough to function as a design feature in your kitchen. Reminiscent of fall foliage or earthy turmeric, Marigold is the perfect complement to all the cozy meals you’ll be serving in the months ahead. It’ll also add some serious personality to your table, whether you’re hosting a holiday dinner or sharing your favorite spring or summer recipes!
The set includes seven essential pieces of cookware: a 10.5-inch fry pan, 3-quart saucepan (with lid), a 4.5-quart sauté pan (with lid), and a 6.5-quart Dutch oven (with lid). Each piece is incredibly well made and has a highly conductive aluminum core beneath its glossy, Teflon-free cooking surface. After testing the cookware herself, Faith noted that the pieces “perform really beautifully,” adding, “they are heavy and heat evenly, and the nonstick performance is somewhere between a true nonstick skillet and a regular pan.”
One feature I really love? Unlike a lot of nonstick brands, Caraway’s pieces are oven safe up to 550 degrees. I like to sear salmon in the fry pan and finish it off in the oven, and have done the same with steak and root veggies. And no matter how sticky, cheesy, or messy the recipe, my Caraway pieces are super easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher.
If you’re wondering where you’ll store your new cookware, Caraway’s got you covered there, too. The set comes with a genius magnetic pan rack, so you can keep your pieces lined up neatly on your countertop, a deep shelf, or in a cabinet. Equally brilliant is Caraway’s lid storage system, which is essentially a hanging organizer that can be placed on a cabinet door or pantry wall. So you’ll have no trouble finding room for your new pieces if you’re adding to a growing cookware collection.
The Marigold cookware set retails for $395, but you can also snag a few a-la-carte if you only need one or two pieces. And if you’re planning to do that, I can’t recommend the fry pan enough. Well… actually, the saucepan. Umm, no definitely the Dutch oven. Oh well, just get them all. They’re that good, I promise!
