I love going a little retro, and a little classic, with my Thanksgiving table. Here are four candlesticks that echo mid-century lines and materials, starting with these beautiful hand-turned examples from Schoolhouse Electric.

These are hand-turned in Portland, made out of alder and walnut. Really beautiful.

These also have a classic shape, but they are dressed up in so many fun colors, it's hard to choose. I love these for a classic table that has some unexpected color.

A little more subtle, these white holders from West Elm echo classic shapes and design, but they're rendered in ceramic instead of wood.

One more option — this one for larger, chunkier candles. These acacia wood holders take those bigger candles, but still echo some classic mid-century lines and curves.
