Q: I love to cook, and I usually like to serve my food in an attractive presentation, too. But I always have leftovers for lunch the next day, which means I have to transfer everything yet again to another dish. By the time I’m done with my cookware, my serving dish, and my Tupperware, I’ve made lots of dirty dishes, and that’s the dilemma. I hate wasting my time and resources with all of this transferring from bowl to bowl.

I would love to find some stylish, attractive containers that can be used as both serving dishes and as air-tight/spill-proof storage containers for the fridge or to carry in my lunch. Any ideas from other cooks out there?

Editor: Laura, we have reviewed and like the Frigoverre glass containers, which come with lids. Also, Pyrex glass dishes are attractive and have lids as well. We are not sure if all of these are secure enough to tote with you to work, but they’re definitely attractive and good for fridge storage too.
