Q: I recently bought a Presto Pressure Canner, and it says that it works on regular and smooth-top surfaces. I'm so confused about whether I can use it or not on my glasstop stove? Some sources say it's fine, and others say not to do it because it can crack the glass.
I'm returning to canning after 30 years and want to get started without busting my stove ... help!
