Can I Re-Pack Canned Tuna in Vacuum-Sealed Bags?

Editor: I think this is a really smart idea! As long as you go directly from can to vacuum-sealed pouch and made sure all the air is removed, then I think it would actually be pretty shelf-stable.
Readers, what do you think? Have any of you tried this?
