Campbell’s Released a Pair of Scented Candles That Give Off All the Nostalgic Vibes Possible
There’s nothing like the aroma of chicken noodle soup on the stove to conjure memories of snowed-in school days and mornings of hiding under the covers on “sick days.” Though fans of Campbell’s classic soups might only want to slurp a hot bowl down when they’re feeling a little under the weather, the iconic brand is giving their fans another way to enjoy one of their most nostalgic eats. Now — whether we’re staying home in a onesie and skipping out on responsibilities or just need a quick pick-me-up — we’ll be able to transport ourselves to those winter memories of long ago without having to turn on a stove.
Thanks to a partnership with retailer CAMP, the soup giant has released a pair of limited-edition scented candles based on two of its iconic flavors. According to Campbell’s, the Tomato Soup & Grilled Cheese candle features notes of “roasted tomato, peppercorn, and gooey grilled cheese.” The Chicken Noodle Soup candle, on the other hand, features notes of “savory chicken, cloves, and buttery crackers.”
The thoughtful packaging borrows from Campbell’s stackable snowman soup cans, which were inspired by their 1993 “Snowbuddy” snowman commercial. And, as an extra piece of ’90s nostalgia , once the candle has burned down, fans will also get their own Snowbuddy as it will reveal a mini snowman keepsake. Each candle also come with a complimentary Winter Warmup Guide that features activities for parents and kids to do together.
The candles are available now at CAMP stores in New York, New Jersey, Dallas, and Connecticut for $24. But if you don’t want to get up from under your comfy blanket, the limited-edition candles will also be available online at camp.com/campbells.
