I’m not much of a dessert person, but ice cream is definitely my weakness. I always indulge in at least a hefty spoonful, straight out of the pint (no shame), after dinner. So when I came across NYC’s Caffé Panna, with their specialty pints and delicious flavor combinations, the habitual nightly ice cream eater in me had to try it. After one taste of their Strawberries n’ Panna with rhubarb swirl, I was hooked.

You definitely won’t find pints like these at your local grocery store. And to be honest, the ice cream is so good it’s worth traveling for. But luckily you can save yourself the flight to New York City – Caffé Panna’s Goldbelly 6-Pack is stocking freezers with pints of their rotating seasonal flavors shipped in dry ice straight to your doorstep.

Hallie Meyer, the owner of the NYC ice cream brand, seeks inspiration for her one-of-a-kind flavors scoop by scoop at gelaterias throughout Rome. The shop imports their cream (panna, in Italian) from Italy, and I attest that you can feel the silky smooth difference in your mouth. You can even get a taste of hazelnuts from Piedmont, Italy in the Best Damn Hazelnut pint! The flavor is comprised of ice cream swirled with hazelnut chocolate ganache and loaded with shortbread crunch cookies. With all due respect, Nutella can step aside.

The shop is just steps from Union Square Farmers Market, where they source fresh fruits from local farmers for their on-site daily churning. They also often collaborate with other small food businesses in NYC. For example, the Caffé Panna 6-Pack features a brown-sugar-vanilla-bean-based pint studded with chunks of salted chocolate chip cookie dough from Sweet Dough based in Brooklyn, NY.

Pro tip: While six specialty pints at once might sound a bit overboard, trust me, it’s not. Gift a couple to the ice-cream lovers in your life, or grab a pint from your freezer stash to bring to a dinner party. And if you want to keep them all for yourself, I won’t tell…
