I love to cook — when I actually have time. Because my schedule is so busy, the easier it is to grab the items I need to prepare a meal, the better. That means readily accessible fry pans, a cabinet near the stove well-stocked with cooking oils, and an organized refrigerator that I don’t have to rifle through. However, there are some cookware conveniences I hadn’t thought of until I was introduced to By the Table, a kitchenware brand that launched in 2024.

The brand released its ultra-stylish Ombré Modular Cookware sets that are packed with features to make them lightweight, versatile, and space-saving. It doesn’t hurt that they’re easy on the eyes, too. As someone who loves color, I was immediately drawn to this vibrant collection and had to see for myself if it was really as good as it looks.

What Is the Ombré Modular Cookware?

By the Table’s Ombré Modular Cookware is an eight-piece set that includes an 8-inch fry pan, 8-inch sauce pot, and an 11-inch fry pan along with two lids, a magnetic lid knob, removable handle, and a wood spatula. As an added bonus, you also get a compressed cleaning sponge that can be used on the cookware to keep it in top shape. The handle is compatible with both fry pans and the sauce pot, and the magnetic knob can be attached to both potlids. The smaller lid fits the smaller fry pan and pot seamlessly.

Thanks to the removable handle and lid knob, these ombré cookware sets are instantly stackable and take up less space in the cabinet (or on your counter). Cleaning is also a breeze since the cookware is dishwasher safe and nonstick. It even comes with a slim yet handy user’s manual that lays out maintenance tips to keep the cookware looking its best — and trust me, you’ll want to take care of it.

Available in three colors — Sequoia Green, Los Olivos Lavender, and Catalina Blue — the Ombré Modular Cookware set is made from recycled aluminum with a nontoxic ceramic titanium coating. It’s oven-safe (without the handle or lid knob) up to 670°, heats quickly and evenly, and has a 2-millimeter pot wall that ensures its lightweight feel. From soups and stews to pasta and one-pan dishes, this multipurpose cookware set can be used for a variety of meal preparation, including pan-frying, boiling, sautéing, and baking. The lids even double as seals for effective food storage!

Why I Love the Ombré Modular Cookware

Out of all three colors, I chose Los Olivos Lavender, a pink-to-purple ombré that totally suits my vibe. Right of the box, there was no doubt that the pans and pot were gorgeous. The speckled finish on the interiors is a really nice touch that adds to the lively personality of the pieces. However, even I know that you can’t judge a book by its cover.

I love having fried eggs in the morning because they’re quick and easy to make, so it’s my go-to test for new cookware, especially if it’s nonstick. Plus, the 8-inch pan is just the right size for two fried eggs since you can tell right away if they aren’t cooking all the way around. I’m happy to say that this By the Table pan lived up to my expectations, so much so that there was no room for error on my part! If I don’t put enough oil in the pan, I couldn’t get away with it (in fact, I ruined my first egg trying to cut corners), but I definitely see it as a good thing. If I’m going to stock my cabinets with cookware, it needs to be good quality.

What I love most about the Ombré Modular Cookware set are the removable handle and lid knob. Those simple details make a huge difference when it comes to storage. While both pieces can be stored in the pot or pans, I love that the magnetic knob sticks to my refrigerator so I can have it available at all times whether I’m cooking on the stove or using the oven. It also hasn’t been a pain to clean, which is fantastic because I love being able to reach for it as soon as I’m ready to make breakfast. It really sets the right mood to kick off my day.

So, if you’re looking for new cookware that’s unlike anything you’ve seen before, By the Table’s ombré cookware is a showstopper that delivers. Even better, it’s on sale right now for well under $200, so get it while you can for a steal!
