Britney Spears May Be Selling Her Gorgeous Calabasas Mansion, and the Patio Is Prime for Dining al Fresco

Apparently Britney Spears is selling her Calabasas mansion on the DL, after living there for just a few months. TMZ reported that Spears has been scoping out potential buyers and showing the home off-market. The Princess of Pop is reportedly asking for $12 million, which is just $200K more than she paid when she bought it with her husband, Sam Asghari, last year. TMZ added that Spears wasn’t a big fan of the house from the beginning, as it was “way too exposed,” and she didn’t bother with any renovations.

While the house wasn’t a good fit for Spears, I couldn’t help but take a (virtual) look inside to see if there was anything that was attractive for potential buyers. Located within the Estates at the Oaks neighborhood (a gated community within a guard-gated community), the 11,600-square-foot Calabasas mansion has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and ornate accents (think: bespoke chandeliers, mosaic tile floors, and hand-carved fireplaces) throughout.

As if all of that weren’t enough, there’s also a wine cellar, 10-seat movie theater, lounge with a wet bar, wood-paneled study, exercise room (you better work), and even a room dedicated to wrapping gifts. The room I’m most excited about, however, is (of course) the kitchen — which has a massive center island, professional-grade appliances, a breakfast nook, tons of storage space, and some chandeliers for good measure. It opens into a family room and is just steps away from a sprawling patio equipped with grills, a fireplace, and another massive chandelier. Outside you’ll also find a 55-foot pool and spa, complete with a waterslide, and a guesthouse. Think of the epic summer cookouts you could host!
