When getting a hearty, delicious meal on the table night after night feels like a chore, turn to the one-skillet meal. This recipe features chicken thighs in a mustard-bacon sauce — and it’ll restore your faith in your ability to whip up a quick weeknight supper with tons of flavor.

To get the most mustard flavor, you first marinate the chicken thighs in a mixture of Dijon, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper. Then once you’ve crisped up some bacon in a skillet, you remove the bacon and brown the chicken thighs right in the residual bacon grease. Set the chicken thighs aside and add a splash of wine to deglaze the pan, and then whisk in some whole-grain mustard and heavy cream to create a luscious sauce.

Add the chicken and bacon back into the sauce to simmer with some fresh thyme, serve with some crusty bread and a side salad, and voila! You’ve got dinner in under an hour.
