These Are Bobby Berk’s Favorite Kitchen Paint Colors
If you’ve ever dreamed about Bobby Berk from “Queer Eye” coming into your home and overhauling your kitchen, then your dream is about to come true (kinda, sorta). Berk recently revealed his favorite kitchen paint colors of all time so can go forth and redo your own kitchen with a beloved-by-Berk hue leading the way.
“Color has the power to express your emotions AND transform your home!” Berk captioned a March 21 Instagram post. “In honor of #InternationalColorDay I am sharing all my favorite paint colors for your kitchen, including this one from our #BBLosFelizTraditionalEclecticProject. Break out your paint brushes, for all of my favorite shades for your space!”
The kitchen Berk shared is actually a redo he did for Freida Pinto and Cory Tran. One of his favorite colors — Galapagos Green by Benjamin Moore — is the star of the show on the kitchen cabinets.
In fact, as his second slide in his March 21 post proves, Berk loves a green kitchen. Alongside Galapagos Green, he included OMGreen from Clare and Gray Green Linen from Valspar in his roundup, both of which are warm calming shades of green.
But, if you’re not a green stan, Berk also loves either a dramatic dark kitchen washed in either Old Navy or Black Satin, both by Benjamin Moore, or a light, bright, and soothing space washed with Mojave Gathering by Backdrop.
Though Berk opted to put his pop of color on the cabinets in Pinto and Tran’s kitchen, these colors would also look amazing on the walls (or even the ceiling) of any kitchen space. And most of these colors look great together, too, so a bit of mixing and matching may be in order.
With this color palette in mind, you can now set the scene for your very own Berk-approved kitchen makeover.
