One of the reasons Full House remains such a beloved show 35 years later is the house itself. The site of so many emotional moments and memorable life lessons, it was quite literally the foundation of the series, bringing to life the idea of a house as home.

Now, Bob Saget’s own house is up for sale and it’s likely to set the scene for a real family’s future memories. The late comedian, who starred as the Full House patriarch for eight seasons and its spin-off from 2016 to 2020, passed away in January. His widow, Kelly Rizzo, recently listed the 6,608-square-foot house for $7,765,000. The agent behind the sale? None other than Saget’s real estate agent nephew, Adam Saget. Keeping it all in the family, naturally.

Located at 1016 North Bundy Drive, in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, the house features six bedrooms and six bathrooms — but, of course, I honed right in on the kitchen. All I could think of was the iconic Full House episode in which Stephanie drives Joey’s vintage car right into the kitchen.

Luckily, the only thing auto-related in this kitchen is the smart home automation that makes it so simple to control the whole house. The eat-in kitchen is warm and inviting, with updated stainless steel appliances and beautiful wood cabinetry. There’s a breakfast counter, a walk-in pantry, and even a fireplace.

This kitchen, like the one in Full House (and pretty much every house), is the heart of the home and it’s easy to imagine gathering here for a goat cheese pizza like Full House’s Vicki cooked for the family or a baby-themed meal with baby corn and baby back ribs like Rebecca made to tell Uncle Jesse she was pregnant.

The home is available to be “shown by appointment only to qualified buyers.” If that happens to be you, don’t be surprised to find yourself walking through the kitchen, humming the Full House theme song, “When you’re lost out there and you’re all alone/A light is waiting to carry you home.”
