If you ever wondered if actress Blake Lively has a sweet tooth, her 35th birthday celebration should answer your question. The newly-minted beverage entrepreneur got to mark her latest new year with not one, but three sentimental desserts.

Over the weekend, Blake — whose birthday was on Thursday, August 25 — shared several InstaStories showcasing her unique treats; the first being a customized cake designed by her sister, Robyn Lively. The three-layer Beascakes Bakery tower cake was covered in pink icing and featured cute little accents on one side, including white trimming and stars, red hearts, cherries, and even a handful of lollipops sticking out of the cake.

The other side of the intentionally lopsided cake made the cute creation even sweeter, with photos of Blake on her very first red carpet appearance — the 2005 Kids’ Choice Awards — and her most recent show-stopping red carpet turn at the 2022 Met Gala. “@robynlively making me emotional with this Adventure Time cake,” the younger Lively sister captioned the snap.

Blake’s second birthday cake was a classic with a fun trivia twist: a chocolate cake with chocolate icing, pictured with a handful of candles on top, and one more laying next to a fork — where someone had apparently helped themselves without bothering to cut a slice. “All I see is Matilda,” she wrote over the story as a nod to the iconic cake scene from the 1996 movie.

Another birthday treat-themed InstaStory revealed that each year, the Ice Cream Lab — the Lower East Side gelato factory that boasts having created 300 flavors of gelato and sorbet — makes Blake her own order of Nestle’s discontinued BonBons. The company reposted her story to their official Instagram account adding, “Happy birthday, Blake Lively. We’re thrilled to be a part of your august celebration year after year.”

To close out her sweet-filled birthday weekend recap, Blake posted a photo of her birthday cake at Per Se, Chef Thomas Keller’s NYC eatery. While she didn’t share what kind of cake it was, the single-serving confection featured gold flakes sprinkled over an ornate spiral design.

Blake Lively doesn’t just enjoy eating sweets though: she is also a home baker. In February of last year, the mom of three daughters — with husband Ryan Reynolds — shared a Reel of an impressively decorated unicorn cake with the caption, “If I don’t get a handshake from [Paul Hollywood] after decorating this one, I quit.” And just a few months later, she brought her Betty Crocker Bake & Fill pan out of storage to deliver a special requested watermelon cake.
