As someone who lives in the city and does not have access to a car, grocery shopping can easily become one of the most non-appealing errands during my weekend. It doesn’t matter that I live walking distance from my favorite local grocery store; carrying all the bags back home always turns out to be way too cumbersome. And, not to mention, borderline impossible during the winter.

For some time, I was skeptical about using delivery apps to get my groceries, but eventually, I found that they helped me to be more productive on weekends when I had a lot to get done. I was able to cut the trip to the grocery store out of the equation and focus on the other things I wanted to accomplish. So naturally, you can imagine my excitement when BJ’s announced their new partnership with DoorDash, and the possibilities it brings to grocery shoppers across the country!

The popularity of delivery services has grown exponentially over the years and with that growth, we have seen a ton of amazing services come to life. Rivaling Costco, BJ’s Wholesale Club has positioned itself to be the first major wholesaler to partner with DoorDash, bringing bulk items straight to your home. Kicking off in 17 states in the Eastern area of the United States, both members and non-members can take advantage of 30 percent off any order of $100 or more from BJ’s via the DoorDash platform for a limited time.

In my opinion, having access to stores like BJ’s is truly a game-changer. For a while, it seemed like finding groceries on the delivery apps was just as hard as finding a good discount code. But now, thanks to this partnership, I (and you, too!) don’t have to worry about that.

“BJ’s is proud to bring the convenience and value our members know and love to even more shoppers through the DoorDash marketplace,” said Monica Schwartz, BJ’s executive vice president and chief digital officer in an official press release. “We are excited to expand easy shopping solutions for our members, while also bringing BJ’s wide assortment and exclusive products to new potential members.”

As an extra bonus, if you are a part of DoorDash’s membership program DashPass, you can receive free shipping on orders of $25 or more. All of BJ’s 226 locations across the 17 states will be accessible via the app, so you don’t have worry whether or not you’ll be left out of the fun.
