Best Way to Keep a Pupu Platter Warm Throughout a Luau?

Q: I'm throwing a mini luau in my small apartment. I am looking for ideas to keep my unofficial pupu platter warm throughout the party.

Is sterno my only option? Is there anything more attractive than cheap aluminum pans over sterno?

Editor: Jessica, keeping a tray of nibbles warm and toasty throughout a party is indeed a bit tricky. It depends on what they are exactly, too. You could try a slow cooker, perhaps? You can also keep some metal trays warm over a low-burning candle. This is much nicer-looking than sterno, if perhaps slightly less effective.

Readers, any ideas or help for Jessica?
