Shark PowerDetect 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with NeverTouch Base
Any product you can “set and forget” is a winner in our book, and robot vacuums definitely fall into that category. But this one takes convenience to new heights, with its dual vacuum and mop functionality. Designed to “capture more, reach farther, and need you less,” this robot will return to its home base to empty into its 60-day-capacity bin, refill its 30-day-capacity water tank, and dry its mopping pad — all while you go about your day as usual. It even has technologies that allow it to lift itself over obstacles to avoid getting stuck. Basically, the only thing it can’t do is make you breakfast; but with all the time this little robot will save you, you’ve got that covered!

Eureka J15 Pro Ultra Robot Vacuum
There’s a reason we have a few robot vacuums on this list. After all, time is money, and the amount of time these little guys will save you makes them worth the spend. Of course, each has its own unique strengths — this one from Eureka, for example, features a self-cleaning base station and all-new active hair-detangling technologies. Both of these new features promise a “hassle-free cleaning experience” with minimal manual effort required. Keep an eye out for this one, as it launches in late September.

Tineco Pure ONE Station 5 Cordless Smart Vacuum
As the owner of a Tineco Pure ONE vacuum myself, I was excited to see the brand announce an improved model in the PURE ONE STATION 5. This latest iteration boasts a three-in-one smart storage and charging station, which also features new self-cleaning technology. The vacuum’s large dustbin holds waste for up to 45 days, and powerful suction ensures efficient cleaning for up to 70 minutes without recharging. This product is also a great option for allergy sufferers and/or pet owners, thanks to an advanced filtration system.

Midea One Oven Series
Midea’s groundbreaking new series of multifunctional built-in ovens caught our eye not just for their sleek modern design, but also for their unprecedented capabilities. Available in two models at the moment, the Midea One Oven Series offers microwave, steam, bake, and air-fry settings, and an attractive enamel door that is easier to clean and less prone to scratching than stainless steel. The oven’s AI cooking technology might be its most exciting feature — its algorithm actually adapts to the specific heating needs of food at different stages of preparation. If you’re thinking of upgrading your oven anytime soon, keep an eye out for this one’s release.
Dreame H14 Wet and Dry Vacuum
Dreame Technology’s latest smart vacuum, the H14 Wet and Dry Vacuum, might just be the missing piece in your cleaning routine. This model offers “smart dirt detection” and automatically adjusts its suction to match the surface and amount of debris. Best of all, as its name suggests, this one doubles as a mop. After it’s done making your home spotless, it’ll even sanitize and dry itself off with a 140-degree bath, turbo spin cycle, and two hot air drying modes (five-minute fast drying and one-hour quiet drying). What more could you ask for?

Siemens (BSH) AI iQ700 Oven Series
Siemens’ new iQ700 ovens with AI intelligence for food recognition were another highlight of the IFA show. With a built-in camera and integrated AI technology, these models can actually recognize 80 different dishes to automatically set the best cooking method and temperature for them.

Midea Celestial Flex Induction Cooking Series
Shortly after the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) finalized its standards for Ki wireless power transfer technology, Midea debuted its first line of kitchen appliances to feature this exciting new capability. But what is Ki? ICYMI, this new technology makes use of electromagnetic induction cooktops (which have become more popular in recent years) to wirelessly deliver power to appliances. Midea’s own new Celestial Flex Series features a blender, steamer, and kettle which all run simply by being placed on top of your induction cooktop. How cool is that? Or should we say … hot?
The All-New AEG Kitchen Range
AEG announced its “biggest and best” kitchen range yet at IFA Berlin — and we’re not just talking about the appliance “range,” but a full range. The new AEG Kitchen Range offers appliances in every product category, from ovens and refrigerators to dishwashers. Sleek in matte or glossy black and smarter than ever before, these new products offer innovations such as AI TasteAssist, for example. This technology allows users to actually send recipes to their oven; the feature then analyzes the recipe to determine timing, temperature, and protein type to set the optimal cooking settings accordingly.
LG 2024 InstaView Oven
Next on our list of smart (ingenious?) kitchen staples: LG’s new energy-efficient InstaView Oven, with even more AI technology made to make your life easier and your food tastier. With a total of 80 cooking modes and GourmetAI, this oven also utilizes a special camera to analyze whatever dish you’re cooking and select the appropriate temperature and time from its preloaded database of 30 recipes. If you’re a nervous chef like me, you can even check the progress of your meal without having to open the door with their InstaView technology.
