1. Birch Benders Chocolate Chip Cookies

The folks at Birch Benders have decided to tackle snack time now — and they’ve done a great job! These oven-baked, gluten-free, keto cookies are crumbly and rich. They’ll collapse in your mouth with a lightly earthy, not-too-sweet finish. Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, and Snickerdoodle are out already, but keep an eye out for the Vanilla Shortbread!

2. SeaPak Southern Style Jumbo Shrimp

We love SeaPak’s popcorn shrimp as an air-fry-in-minutes add-on to chopped salad kits on those too-tired nights. If you want something heftier, the extra-breaded jumbo shrimp line may suit you, especially with the addition of this Southern Style flavor, which sets itself part with pickle-brined breading. There’s 25 grams of protein in every box of roughly a dozen tail-on swimmers. It even comes with sweet mustard barbecue dipping sauce, so all you need to do is add a simple side to make it a meal.

Find it in stores: SeaPak Southern Style Jumbo Shrimp, $9.99 for 10 ounces

3. Alcoeats Butter Chicken Indian Simmer Sauce Mixes

Ready-made sauces are one of the most popular and fastest-growing grocery categories in the game right now. Most come in liquid form, but Alcoeats’ authentic Indian sauce mixes are dry, powdered blends that mix with water to become complex, vibrant sauces in 15 minutes. All of their base components are made from ingredients that are ethically sourced from the northern plains of India, and are keto- and Paleo-friendly, vegetarian, and free of soy, gluten, GMOs. Some are even free of dairy, tapping into cashew for creaminess. Typically available online only, this Indian-founded brand is hitting Sprouts for a six-month exclusive in five of their most in-demand flavors: Butter Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Royal Paneer, Butter Paneer, and Sautéed Veggies.

4. SOMOS Mexican Peacadillo

Food is just better when it’s made by those who understand and appreciate the culture it’s rooted in. SOMOS is founded by three friends originally from Mexico who you might recognize from a little brand named KIND. Their new line is all about plant-based ingredients sourced in partnership with Mexican family farms, cooked using traditional techniques, like stone-grinding and fire-roasting, and recipes that highlight their heritage. Their nachos, chilaquiles, tacos, and tostada meal kits came out earlier this year, but were online only. This month, they’re going retail for the first time, with microwaveable pouches of Spicy Refried Beans, Mexican Black Beans, and Mexican Peacadillo hitting Kroger shelves now

6. Field + Farmer Apple Cinnamon Produce in a Bar

Having a hard time squeezing in your fruits and veggies? Well, if they can make bars for protein, they can do it for your reds and greens, too. This brand’s new refrigerated product line offers a new low-sugar, desserts-and-snacks themed way to boost your intake, in flavors that include Apple Cinnamon, Cocoa Brownie, Carrot Cake, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and Peanut Butter Cookie. The real MVP of these gluten-free selections is the hidden kale, beets, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, and smattering of fruit amid pumpkin seeds, oats, and rice flours.

7. Soom Dark Chocolate Tahini with Sea Salt

There are only four ingredients (sesame seeds, cane sugar, cocoa powder, and sea salt) in this thick, nutty chocolate spread, but a whole website of uses for it and the other tahini-based products by this woman-owned company. This deeply chocolatey topping is great drizzled onto a toasted croissant and would do well on crepes, pancakes, waffles, in smoothies, or even mixed into hot coffee. You can also bake with it!

8. Ben & Jerry’s Dublin Mudslide Ice Cream

The ice cream duo is closing out the quarter with a pair of new pints: The first is Chewy Gooey Cookie, with milk chocolate and coconut ice cream mixed with fudge flakes, shortbread cookies, and caramel swirls; The second is the Dublin Mudslide, and it’s made in partnership with female-owned Wheyward Spirits, making spirits sustainable with — you guessed it! — whey. This combo takes Irish cream and mixes in chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, and coffee fudge swirls. Despite it coming out near St. Patrick’s Day, this is a permanent addition. How lucky for us!

9. Oreo Frozen Dairy Dessert Sandwiches

Oreos now has a line of ice cream in the form of bars, cones, sandwiches, and tubs. The dairy desserts and sandwiches are self-explanatory. The cones are made of chocolate and filled with crème, then dipped in the cookies, while the bars are dipped in a coating made from crushed wafers. All, of course, are chock-full of crushed cookie pieces for Oreo overload.

10. Enlightened Vanilla Fudge Sundae Cones

When one of our favorite brands announced it’s churning out a new dessert in cone form, we made extra room in our freezers. Enlightened has lightened up the old-school formula of fudge-filled cone tip, with airy ice cream (made with skim milk and sweetened with a combination of cane sugar, allulose, and monkfruit extract), a drizzle of fudge swirl, and fudge flakes or peanuts. Greek yogurt versions are also on the way!

11. Spero Foods Sunflower Cream Cheese & Cheese

Plant-based dairy is an area that continues to boom, and that means even existing brands need — and want! — to step things up for increasingly discerning palates. Spero is one of those brands, and has reformulated its cheese-like spreads to reflect that. Sunflower seeds are ultra-sustainable and highly nutritious, require very little water, and — critically important for those with food allergies — are not derived from nuts. Plus, the company adds probiotics to its products. The lineup includes plain, herb, strawberry, and smoked salmon cream cheese, as well as smoked, goat, and cheddar cheese spreads.

12. Vizzy Mimosa Hard Seltzers

You’ve seen canned mimosas and canned hard seltzers. Well, Vizzy is getting inventive this month and combining the two with the first canned mimosa hard seltzer, a line of fruity drinks that boosts its bubbles with vitamin C from orange juice and Acerola. The cans don’t come in plain OJ, but four fruity duos — strawberry orange, pineapple orange, peach orange, and pomegranate orange.

14. Rancho La Gloria Classic Lime Skinny Margarita Wine Cocktail

It may only be March, but this release has us ready for (consistently) warmer weather. The brand known for De Agave wine-based, ready-to-drink, cocktails is rolling out bottles of Classic Lime and Strawberry margs this month. Named after the home of the original margarita, this new twist on the classic is 9.9 percent alcohol by volume, so you can enjoy the flavor and tipple without getting too toasted.
