The 5 Best Freezer Finds We Bought from Costco This Year
The Costco freezer section is no joke. Not only is it massive, but it’s also full of lots of things we want to buy on a regular basis! We’re talking quick breakfasts, crowd-pleasing appetizers, dinner shortcuts, and more. We tried (and loved!) so many new or new-to-us Costco freezer finds this year and, with the ball getting ready to drop, we thought we’d take a look back at our favorites.
Of all the freezer finds we brought home from Costco this year, these are our picks for the best of the best.
1. Beyond Meat Beyond Burgers, $15 for 8 burgers
Like a lot of you, we started eating less meat this year. Beyond Meat’s Plant-Based Patties were one of the first meat substitutes that our families enjoyed. Made with pea protein, they are filling and flavorful. When you stock up at Costco, you can serve Beyond Burgers for two meals or host a BBQ with ease. (Summer will be here before you know it!)
2. Kirkland Signature Italian-Style Meatballs, $16.99 for 6 pounds
Not every frozen meatball is created equal: Kirkland Signature’s meatballs are meaty, well-seasoned, and a very close match to what Grandma used to make. Not only are they tasty, but they’re also one of the best dinner shortcuts money can buy. They jumpstart quick meatball subs, are great served over spaghetti, and taste delicious simmered in a sweet and tangy sauce.
3. Kirkland Signature Organic Blueberries, $9.69 for 3 pounds
4. Veggies Made Great Blueberry Oat Muffins, $12.69 for 20 muffins
After eyeing the muffins from Veggies Made Great for months, we finally took the plunge and added them to our cart. While they have a slight blue-green (and not golden brown!) tint to them, they are hearty, filling, and flavorful. Made with oats and blueberries, these muffins are tasty and packed with veggies like zucchini and carrots.
5. Jonny Pops, $12.99 for 16 popsicles
No matter the season, a freezer’s most important function is ice pop storage. These tropical pops deliver strong beachside vibes. Available in mango and pineapple-coconut flavors, they’re mixed with fresh cream. The result — a hybrid popsicle-ice cream confection we can’t get enough of.
