Spring has sprung, which means the animal-inspired sweets and pastel-hued packages are in full bloom. With Easter just days away, it’s time to fill our carts (and Easter baskets!) with foil-wrapped chocolates and sugar-dusted candies. What are our favorite seasonal treats? I polled my coworkers, and these are the four Easter candies they look forward to every year. They all have one egg-citing thing in common! (Spoiler: They’re egg-shaped.)

1. Cadbury Mini Creme Eggs

“Cadbury Creme Eggs were the pièce de résistance of our Easter baskets growing up. I learned to savor it because I only got one of the sweet, rich fondant-filled chocolate eggs. The eggs were made even better when the mini versions debuted — the proportion of sweet-creme filling to chocolate shell is pure bliss.” — Patty Catalano, Staff Writer

2. Cadbury Mini Eggs

“There is no better Easter candy than Mini Eggs! The milk chocolate center is creamy, smooth, not too rich, and absolutely irresistible. Plus the crunch you get from that extra-thick outer shell is perfection” — Kelli Foster, Culinary Producer

“I love that crunchy shell and creamy chocolate that just melts in your mouth.” — Kristina Razon, Senior Food Editor

“They’re so spring-y and joyful to look at, and the crunchy shell and smooth chocolate is an unbeatable combo. Plus, they’re not individually wrapped so there’s nothing stopping me from eating them by the handful.” — Jada Wong, Shopping Director

3. Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs

“The ratio of peanut butter to chocolate is higher than their standard peanut butter cups, making it that much better.” — Christine Gallary, Senior Recipe Editor

“Simple, but works! Doesn’t change the flavor, IMO, and it’s a good size to have as a snack.” — Cory Fernandez, Associate Food Editor

4. Reese’s Snack-Size Peanut Butter Eggs

“Of all Reese’s shapes, the egg is the simplest, and for some reason, the yummiest. The minis are the best!” — Quinn Fish, Cleaning & Organizing Editor, The Kitchn & Cubby
