The 10 Costco Finds I’m Buying on Repeat Right Now (They’re All $10 or Less)
Throughout all the ups and downs of the last year, Costco has been my constant. It was one of the few retailers that never ran out of my go-to groceries — and nearly every trip I found that they were offering major price drops. And just my luck, I recently discovered that my current lineup of favorite items at Costco all cost less than $10 each. I love a bargain! (Even subliminally, I guess!)
Here are my top 10 picks for right now that are all just $10 or less.
1. Happy Village Organic Dark Sweet Cherries, $9 for 5 pounds
To say that I am obsessed with these organic dark sweet cherries would be an understatement. Because I never want to be without them, I buy two bags every time I go. I love to throw them into smoothies with some wild blueberries, cacao powder, spinach, flaxseed meal, and frozen banana slices.
2. Kirkland Signature Organic Tomato Paste, $6 for twelve 6-ounce cans
It’s always good to have a can of tomato paste handy, because a whole slew of recipes tend to call for it. Thanks to Costco, I always have at least 12 cans — all for just $6!
3. Rhythm Organic Roasted Kale Chips, $8.50 for 6 bags
If you are convinced that you hate kale, these chips will change your mind! I’m a huge fan of these because they are full of flavor and have the same, satisfying crunch as potato chips.
4. Mayorga Organics Chia Seeds, $6 for 3 pounds
Calling all smoothie-lovers! These chia seeds are a major steal (they can be as pricey as $10 for a 1-pound bag at other stores!). These chia seeds will likely last me all year and they cost just $6 for 3 pounds.
5. JONGGA Kimchi, $7 for 43.2 ounces
I love to eat this kimchi in salads, on sandwiches, in wraps, alone as a side dish — you name it. This tub sold at Costco is super high-quality, not to mention costs just $7 for 42 ounces. A major bargain!
6. Fage Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt, $6 for 48 ounces
This has been my go-to yogurt for more than a decade because it’s super thick and ultra-creamy, even though it’s non-fat. I adore this yogurt in smoothies of any kind. I also like to put it in a bowl with frozen or fresh berries, a sliced banana, and kiwi for an afternoon snack or dessert. One of these tubs rarely lasts a week in my house.
7. Sunbutter Natural Sunflower Butter, $7 for two 16-ounce jars
Sun Butter is my favorite peanut butter substitute. My local Costco started selling the brand last year, and I’ve been buying these two-packs on repeat ever since. My family loves to eat the stuff on bread (as toast or sandwiches), in smoothies, or mixed into yogurt.
8. Quaker Oats Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats, $8 for 10 pounds
Fun fact: Quaker Oats are one of the things that convinced me to get a Costco membership to begin with. I eat a bowl of them every single day. This huge box of oats comes with two (five-pound) bags inside, and while the $8 price tag is unreal, I’ve even seen these as low as $6 during Costco’s Hot Buy Sale.
9. Kashi Cinnamon Harvest Organic Cereal, $7.50 for two 26-ounce boxes
This filling and delicious cereal typically costs me upwards of $5 a box at most other stores (and those boxes are smaller in size). I’ve only recently started seeing this option and I hope it becomes a permanent fixture to my Costco’s shelves.
10. Sunny Fruit Organic Sun-Dried Figs, $9 for 40 ounces
These Sunny Fruit figs are always moist, sweet, and super chewy, but never overly dried like some others I’ve tried before. I love to put them in oatmeal or make energy bites with them when blended with dates, coconut, cacao, cinnamon, and flaxseed meal.
