You already know to head to Aldi for great deals on produce, snacks, freezer finds, and more. But if you’ve been skipping the cleaning aisle, we’re here to tell you that you’ve been missing out. While it’s not a huge section in our local store, it does have big, big deals. During a recent trip, we scoped out the offerings and did some math to make sure the prices were true bargains. (Of course, they were!)

Here’s what to buy during your next trip.

1. Dawn Ultra Original, $2.94 for 21.6 ounces

We ran some very scientific tests to find the very best dish soaps on the market, and Dawn won for best overall. It’s a classic for a reason. Get it at Aldi, where the price-per-ounce beats Amazon and other big-box stores. We hadn’t actually noticed Dawn on the shelves before, which brings us to this tip: Stock up when the opportunity presents itself.

2. Radiance Cleaning Eraser, $1.95 for two

Fact: These sorts of cleaners are just melamine foam, a powerful-yet-delicate abrasive. That’s it. There’s no hidden secret or magic with the name-brand options. Go with an off-name brand and you won’t notice any difference — aside from the price. Get them at Aldi and they’re about $1 each. Or 50 cents each if you cut them in half first.

3. Fabuloso, $2.68 for 1.75 quarts

If you’re not familiar, Fabuloso is widely beloved. It’s a multi-purpose cleaner with a multi-action formula that can be used to clean most hard surfaces. Beyond those hard surfaces, we have a few other ideas for how to put this cleaner to good use.

4. Radiance Lavender Dry Sweeping Cloths, $3.35 for 16

Dry sweeping cloths for just around 21 cents each? Yes, please. That fresh lavender scent isn’t for everyone, so Aldi also carries an unscented version.

5. Radiance Lavender Wet Floor Wipes, $3.59 for 12

Dry cleaning should be followed with wet cleaning (never the other way around, because that will make a bigger mess than what you’ve started with). So use those dry sheets from above and then these wet floor wipes. You’ll end up with sparkling floors … and still have money in your wallet.
