The 15 Best Black Friday Sales for Home Cooks

Even if you just finished cleaning up the turkey leftovers, it’s time to start thinking about Black Friday. The sales are plentiful and you’ll be extra thankful if you get in on some of these deals. We’ve rounded up the 15 best sales and deals at some of our favorite retailers.

At this major appliance store, Black Friday is actually called Black November, because the sales — up to 55 percent off! — last all month long. (There’s also free nationwide shipping for orders totaling $499 or more.) If you’ve been in need of a new fridge or oven, it’s time to treat yourself.

Anthro finally announced, its Black Friday and the retailer is doing the same thing as last year: Offering 30 percent off full-price and sale items in store and online. Some exclusions apply, but we’re planning to save on this Petalpress Pie Dish, a Felix Ice Cream Spoon, dish towels, and more.

Black Friday is a week-long event for Bed Bath & Beyond, starting November 19. Thousands of items are on sale, including KitchenAid stand mixers, this 2.75-quart Le Creuset, the OXO Barista Brain coffee maker, and more.

Another great appliance sale to check out (especially if you’re one for comparing prices), Home Depot is also running sales all month at up to 40 percent off. Plus, you can instantly save up to $500 just by buying more — you’ll get $50 off when you buy two appliances, for example. Refrigerators are up to 40 percent off, dishwashers are up to 35 percent off, and ranges and cooktops can be picked up for 35 percent off.

Early bird shoppers could win coupons for $10, $100, or $500. Even if you don’t get a coupon, there will still be plenty of deals. Some small appliances — like a griddle, slow cooker, and popcorn maker — by JCPenney’s private brand, Cooks, will be just $8 after a mail-in rebate. An 18-piece glass pyrex set will be $15 after rebate. And the Keurig K55 single-serve coffee maker will be $60, for example.

Kohl’s circular features a handful of small appliances at the $10, $30, and $50 price points. Food Network bowl sets and cookie sheets will be $10. Plus, items from KitchenAid, Ninja, Cuisinart, Hamilton Beach, and more will be on major markdown. And of course, that valuable Kohl’s cash will be part of the shopping holiday — get $15 for every $50 you spend.

If you need a new fridge, this may be the sale for you. A Samsung 25.5-cubic foot French door refrigerator with ice maker, which usually retails for $1,999, is now just $999. In general, Lowe’s is offering up to 40 percent off select appliances, plus up to $500 in rebates.

If you feel like braving the crowds — and get there early enough — you can get four- or 12-piece glassware sets or select small appliances (like a Bella slow cooker or coffee maker) for free. Free! These Doorbusters will be $10 and then $0 once you send the mail-in rebate. Other deals include KitchenAid artisan stand mixers for $280 and 20 percent off attachments, 4-piece place setting sets by Fiesta for $24, and a Ninja pro blender for $100. Sur la Table is promising the lowest prices of the year on knives, cookware sets, skillets, pots and pans, coffee makers, espresso machines, and more. Early Access deals include a Global Two-Piece Knife Set for $100 and discounted John Boos cutting boards. Shop on Black Friday to find Vitamix machines marked down by up to 50 percent, Le Creuset up to 55 percent off, and Wüsthof knives up to 70 percent off.

Target released its circular early and we couldn’t stop reading it. The sales are good November 23 through November 25 and include a Bodum French press for $10, a Hamilton Beach 6-speed hand mixer for, and the 6-quart Instant Pot for $80. In addition to those great deals, if you spend $50 or more on Friday, you’ll get a coupon for 20 percent off one shopping trip between November 28 and December 10.

It’s Buy One, Get One at Urban Outfitters! Meaning: You can buy something and get something else (of equal or lesser value) for 50 percent off. For example, you can buy this S’well Spectrum Water Bottle for $42 and then get this Mini Waffle Maker for just $9. Or get this Metallic Bar Cocktail Set for $39 and this 3-Piece Electroplated Knife Set for $12. You get the idea.

Walmart will have all sorts of deals on toys, televisions, laptops, and more — starting on Walmart.com at 12:01 a.m. ET on Thanksgiving morning (November 23) and the in-store event begins at 6 p.m. local time on Thanksgiving day. Some of the best deals: A Crock-Pot 5-quart slow cooker for $9.88, and 30-piece set of Pioneer Woman cookware for $94.

Save anywhere from 15 to 30 percent off your entire purchase, depending on how much you spend. Spend at least $100 and you get 15 percent off. Spend $3,000 and you get 30 percent off. We’re hoping to pick up the Seam Dinnerware Set, these Schmidt Brothers Steak Knives, this Geo Bottle Stopper Set, and about a million other things.

There are all sorts of fun sales happening at Williams Sonoma. For example, Nespresso machines are 35 percent off, All-Clad all-in-one & essential pans are 50 percent off, and holiday tabletop collections (like this one!) are 20 percent off. Plus, if you shop online on Thanksgiving, you can take 20 percent off regularly priced items.

World Market will have tons of different deals popping up from November 23 to November 26. All furniture, for example, will be 40 percent off with a coupon. (Hello, new dining room table!) Open-stock mugs are buy one, get one free, coffee makers and accessories are 40 percent off, cookie jars are half off — plus, there are plenty of other sales.
