Beautiful Kitchen Tools from Labour and Wait

Kristin’s post below about the windowbox herb garden in Notting Hill has us thinking about England and all the old-fashioned kitchen tools you can find through a few good companies there. One of our favorite daydream shops is Labour and Wait…

This shop is in the market district of East London. They have a well-curated collection of what they call timeless objects for everyday life. We find their selection beautiful and quietly classic, while still highly functional. They remind us a little of Kiosk in their simple yet practical and lovely selection of home objects.

We have too many favorites (or is that favourites?) in their kitchen collection to choose, but here are the objects in the photos above, along with a few extra:

Top, clockwise from top left:
Ladle Set, £35.00
Saltglaze Jug, £22.00
Onion Pot, £20.00
Classic Brown Betty 2-Cup Teapot, £10.00

Above, left to right:
Vegetable Brush and Peeler, £8.50
Four Horn Egg Spoons, £24.00
Large Milk Jug, £14.00
