What is it about wicker that immediately evokes a rustic, easy-going feel, no matter the setting? Full-on wicker dining sets may be too beachy for everyday (unless you live in a beach house, of course!) but I find wicker pendant lights the perfect informal touch.
I love them for an unexpected element they provide in more formal dining settings; the natural material provides a lot of interesting texture, and the neutral color can work almost anywhere. (Although, if you really want a bright pop of color, you could take a cue from the last photo: that's IKEA's Leran pendant lamp, available in the UK, painted a bright orange-red!)
How do you feel about wicker lights in the kitchen?
