With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it may feel as if how you express your love to that special someone is crucial. In the past, I’ve sent flowers to a crush to express my interest, had fancy bottles of wine delivered to their home, and have even used cleverly-worded Sweethearts Candies to express my love. This year, Baskin-Robbins is making it easier for me to up the ante with the introduction of their featured February flavor: Secret Admirer. What better way to get to someone’s heart than through their stomach?

Aesthetically, the ice cream is a feast for the eyes. With beautiful scoops of pink cake-flavored ice cream swirled in with creamy rose ice cream and accented with a sweet strawberry ribbon, this new flavor is a bouquet of flowers in a cup. Considering Baskin-Robbins uses real rose extract to craft this one-of-a-kind flavor, the timing of its release feels more than fitting. So, if flowers don’t happen to be your person’s “thing,” you’ll still be able gain cool points with a sweet treat they can eat.

“The launch of ‘Secret Admirer’ builds on our history of high-quality flavor innovation, offering unique elements like real rose extract that our guests may have never experienced before alongside familiar flavors,” said Jeanne Bolger, Director of Research & Development for Baskin-Robbins. “We are excited to introduce an ice cream that is both intriguing and festive in the spirit of Valentine’s Day.”

The new flavor is available now in all Baskin-Robbins stores, but only for a limited time, so be sure to grab a scoop or two before it’s gone at the end of the month. And if you’re looking for something to pair it with, these fresh homemade chocolate covered cherries are sure to spice up your Valentine’s Day dessert menu.
