If you’ve been patiently waiting on a new season of Ina Garten’s highly-celebrated show “Barefoot Contessa,” you are in absolute luck. Ina — who can arguably be noted as a favorite chef of almost everyone — took to her Instagram account today to note that the new season touches down this weekend, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

The show, which has been on air for 19 years, will kick off its premiere episode of the season with a recipe that’s sure to make everyone’s mouths water: Kielbasa with Mustard Dip. Calling it the “easiest appetizer ever” in the post, this recipe was initially found in Ina’s 2020 cookbook, Modern Comfort Food and — like most recipes from the celebrated chef — will probably become one of your favorites.

It seems as if we’re just getting an overflow of Ina recipes this week as the star also appeared on the premiere episode of Al Roker’s new Thanksgiving-inspired podcast, “Cooking Up a Storm.” It was there that she shared her recipe for Parmesan Smashed Potatoes and gave a few notes about why some people tend to end up with “bland” mashed potatoes. And yes, it’s because you don’t add enough salt. Though she probably won’t be cooking up those same potatoes on this season of the show, I’m sure we can expect plenty of her other sweet and savory dishes to make the cut.

The first episode of this season’s “Barefoot Contessa” will air on Sunday, November 7 at 12:30 p.m. on Food Network, so be sure to add it to your schedule. And, don’t forget to tune into our Thanksgiving Food Fest at 8 p.m. that night to fill yourself up with more recipes, too!
