Baking Tip: Measure Oil First, Honey Second
When baking with honey, it can be a real frustration fully removing the sticky substance from the measuring cup. It inevitably leaves you scraping and scraping to get it all out. However, if your recipe also calls for oil, there’s an unbelievably easy solution:
Measure the oil first. That’s it.
Use the same measuring cup – without washing – to measure the honey: It will all slide out in one clean plop. This also requires less cleanup than using a separate measuring cup for oil and honey or washing in between. It’s just one of those examples of working smarter instead of harder!
Does your recipe not call for oil? Simply spray the measuring cup with oil or nonstick spray before pouring in the honey.
