As quickly as her husband racked up three-point shots and shattered NBA records, Ayesha Curry has trail-blazed through the food world. After writing and releasing her cookbook, The Seasoned Life, the 27-year-old wasted no time, immediately moving on to filming the second season of her Food Network show, Ayesha's Homemade. Now her latest venture, a line of cookware created in partnership with the Meyer Corporation, has finally hit shelves this week at Target.
Back in February we found out that Curry would be releasing the Ayesha Curry Home Collection for Target. Since then, we've been anxiously awaiting its arrival in stores. The collection debuted on October 1, which means we can finally bask in the beauty of her pristine copper muffin tins and jewel-toned sauté pans.
In a recent post on Instagram, Curry shared her ecstatic energy over the release, writing: "My parents went into Target this morning to scope out the scene! I could cry. Love you, Mom and Dad!"
The full line includes everything from knife sets and cookie sheets to woks and salt boxes. Pieces begin at just $10 and cap off at about $40 for larger items like a stoneware casserole dish and enormous enamel-on-steel stockpot (although there are some outliers, like a $70 scratch-resistant aluminum stockpot). For now, Curry's cookware will be exclusively sold at Target stores and Target.com, but will be more widely available in November.
"Saying that this is a dream come true is an understatement," Curry says in a press release on Target's website. "My hope is that my line of cookware, bakeware, and other kitchen products will encourage others to get in the kitchen and see for themselves how effortless and fun cooking can be."
