About Me
A native Venetian with a background in Cultural Studies and Gastronomy, Valeria has been working in communications and marketing for the food industry while also pursuing a passion for cooking, writing and photography. As a food and travel writer, she has contributed stories on matters of Italian food culture and traditions to a variety of publications. Her debut cookbook, Veneto, a recipe book on the food of her origins, was published by Faber & Faber in 2017.
Valeria currently lives, works, cooks and writes in the Langhe region of Northern Italy.
