Valen Sparks

Valen Sparks is a granddaughter of the Great Migration hailing from Chicago, a home cook, barbecue master in the making, and founder of Bless the Food a New Orleans based pop up and archive. She is interested in food as a bridge between the past and future with particular interest in the ways globalization, travel, and technology shift our palettes and food traditions.
