About Me
Shani is a classically trained private chef, writer, and recipe developer living and working in Brooklyn. She is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute, and spent five years working as a line cook at the Dutch, which was named Restaurant of the Year by the New York Times. In the seven years following her departure from restaurants she catered a number of high profile cocktail parties, provided weekly meals for families, and worked in magazine test kitchens on photo and video shoots.
