Kardea Brown

Kardea Brown is a contemporary Southern cook born in Charleston, South Carolina where she currently resides. A former social worker, she created the pop-up New Gullah Supper Club, which pays homage to the dishes her grandmother and mother passed down to her. She is the host of the hit show Delicious Miss Brown on The Food Network as well as the host of The Great Soul Food Cookoff on OWN. The Way Home is her first book.
