I Fed My Family of Four for a Month After One Costco Trip. And It Was Delicious.
I live in the Hamptons, where milk costs $8 a gallon. I depend on a freelance paycheck, am raising a family, and find that living and eating well in an expensive community defies possibility. So I issued myself a challenge: Save time, money, and effort by doing one massive Costco shopping trip and getting enough to feed my family for one month. Would it be possible to drag out produce so that we didn’t feel beholden to the whims of starch? I intended to find out.
