Florence Dean

As a small child, Florence's grandmother often gave her a handful of pie dough to practice making a pie. She looks forward to holidays with her family when she can plan meals and try out recipes from her cookbook collection. After retiring from a career as a medical secretary, Florence turned her next years into freelance writing for national and local magazines. She is currently teaching a CE class in Creative Writing at NMSU/A.
