There’s lots of good food and diamond engagement rings, and the presence of all the sample stations means it’s basically a giant, free tapas bar. Now one Twitter user has made a case for why Costco is the ideal first date location, and he’s absolutely right.

This New Measuring Cup May Make You a Better Baker
Have you ever wondered why your cookies never come out the same from batch to batch, even though you’re using the same recipe? Chances are, it’s your measuring cup that’s to blame. Nobody Has Ever Loved Food as Much as This Man Loves Tea
Britain is known for being a nation of tea-lovers, but nobody in the U.K. loves tea as much as Yorkshireman Nathan Garner. In fact, nobody has ever loved any food as much as he loves tea. I’m serious! This dude loves his tea more than Proust loved Madelines and Monty Python loved Spam, and he just proved it by legally changing his middle name to “Yorkshire Tea.” Nathan Derek Garner is no more. Long live Nathan Yorkshire Tea Garner.

Grilling Recipe: Lamb Chuanr
My Chinese teacher once told me that all Beijing expats start out by learning the same three words: nihao, pijiu, and yangrou chuanr – hello, beer, and lamb chuanr. Chuanr (pronounced like “chwar”) are skewers of food seasoned with cumin and chili powder, then cooked over a propane or charcoal grill.

Explosive Recipe! Strawberry Ice Cream with White Chocolate-Covered Pop Rocks
The number of things that can be mixed into ice cream is nigh without limit. (I once saw a lady at a Cold Stone add Gummi bears, cherries, peanut butter, and caramel sauce.) The sheer volume of possibilities makes me feel doubly sorrowful over the things that should be delicious ice cream mix-ins, if not for their tendency to lose structural integrity when dunked, like my ice cream-making white whale: Pop Rocks. Pop Rocks are one of the most fun candies.
