About Me
Dinatalia Farina is an enthusiastic home cook, who grew up in Brooklyn, learning the ropes of Puerto Rican cuisine from watching her mother in the kitchen. Having been raised in a home where enthusiasm for food and cooking was welcomed, it created a contagious energy that led her to complete her Master's thesis on Puerto Rican food and storytelling, thus catalyzing her interest in food writing and research. When she's not working in the nonprofit world during the day, she enjoys going out to dinner with friends, cooking for them when she can, reading, dancing, and laughing.
