August Food Magazine Roundup: Gourmet and Saveur
The August/September issue of Saveur has lovely photos from all over the world. Our favorite piece was a set of photographs and an essay on a family of Hmong immigrants in central California growing gorgeous produce like basil and lemongrass.
They also feature Russian food and hospitality (groaning tables are the standard) and give a great overview of avocados. We never knew there were so many varieties! Most of Saveur is subscription only, and it’s worth it for the inspiration from around the world.
