This Editor-Approved Coffee Club will Give You Your First Bag Free with Any Subscription (For a Limited Time Only!)
Coffee lovers, it’s time to party: It’s National Coffee Day! The beverage that gets most of us through our mornings definitely deserves its own special day, and if you haven’t taken part in the festivities before, you’re in for a treat this year. Coffee chains and retailers all across the country are offering tons of sweet deals — and some are even giving out freebies! So tell every coffee lover you know before the day is out (and send over this list, which details some of the places you can go in-person for your treat.)
There are a number of retailers that operate online giving out some celebratory deals, too. Atlas Coffee Club, a subscription service that allows you to try coffee from around the world according to your preferences, is included in that group. From now until Monday, Oct. 2, the editor-loved retailer is offering shoppers a free 12-ounce bag of coffee. All you have to do is enter the code ATLASCOFFEEDAY23 at checkout and pay a small fee for shipping.
After building your plan, which includes selecting your coffee type, grind type, roast, number of bags you would like to receive (ranging from half a bag to two, the latter which makes about 30 cups), and how often you’d like to receive it (every two or four weeks), you can take advantage of the deal with your new subscription. It’s worth mentioning that you can just try it out once to start, and then cancel at any time, but trust us: After your first taste, you’ll want more.
The Kitchn contributor Sholeen finished her first bag in a week and couldn’t wait to get her hands on another. And, coffee isn’t all you get with your package — brewing instructions, a postcard from the country it came from, and tasting notes about the coffee and its region are put in, too. Even the packaging was cool, since it’s changed to match the country of origin’s landscapes and textiles. And, when it’s all said and done, if you’re not a fan of the first batch you receive, your next one will be free!
“I have experimented with a few different ways of brewing the beans, like using my Breville Espresso Machine as well a traditional French press, and both times the flavors pulled have been complex, delicious and intense,” Sholeen wrote in her review. “The single-origin beans, which are roasted to order, are a lot smaller in size compared to other brands I have experimented with, but they pack such a punch.”
And to try all of that for free? It’s a total steal, and one you should take advantage of before the festivities end after this weekend. Treat yourself — and learn more about coffee from around the world in the process!
