Ah yes, the holidays are over and New Year's resolutions are in full swing. And although January detoxing is mostly cliché and overdone, I feel my body craving healthier, lighter food even though it's closing in on zero degrees here in New York. All the heavy and rich foods I ate during the holidays, I suppose, have left me a little bogged down. I now seriously crave more energy-boosting meals.
I'm definitely not looking for a quick diet or juice cleanse, but something more along the lines Bon Appétit food lover cleanse, which seems delicious, and lighter. Simple things like making my own lunch for work or not eating ALL the chocolate at the office are also welcome options in January.
