If you don’t think of Anthropologie during those same furniture-shopping times when you hit up West Elm and CB2, you should start. Beyond those cute dish towels and monogrammed mugs, the clothing retailer has so. much. furniture. And right now, as part of the brand’s Summer Home Event, a ton of it is on sale. Mind you, it’s still not cheap, but it is up to 20 percent off and it’s a great value/investment for your grown-up life. Here are some of the very best deals.

1. Woven Dots Bistro Chair, $198 (normally $248)

This rattan chair makes me think about sitting at a cafe in Paris with a cafe creme and an existential tome. And don’t you want a chair that can do that? It’s perfect for small patios and terraces where you have just enough room for a table for two, but I could also see using a pair of these to add a little romance to your kitchen table or dining room as well.

2. Gleaming Primrose Mirror, $358 for a 3-foot mirror (normally $448)

A lesson I have learned from several years of living in very small New York City apartments is that a mirror will make any space feel roomier, lighter, and, if it’s this particular mirror, fancier. Its vibe would pair well with a formal dining room, but I could also see hanging it in a kitchen to brighten up the space.

3. Tamsin Dining Table, $238 (normally $298)

If your style tends toward more Scandinavian-sleek than old-world glam, this table will be right up your alley. Clean and modern, it’s a step up from what you’d get at IKEA, but it won’t destroy your budget either.

4. Pearl LED Chandelier, $398 (normally $498)

There’s something SO ROMANTIC about this chandelier, especially if you go for the peach-hued bulbs. And you should. Also, it might seem like a big expense, but changing your light fixture will seriously transform your space. If you do nothing else, consider changing the light! To this one!

What I love about this console table (besides the fact that it combines two furniture trends in one) is that it could easily serve as a sideboard in your dining room, a bar cart for your living room, or an entryway piece where you drop your keys and your mail — so you don’t bring those things into the kitchen.

6. Logan Dining Chair, $198 (normally $298)

There’s something about these chairs that reminds me of elementary school chairs — only really, really cool versions of them. The brass-capped legs! The shape of the back! The rich, deep wood! Cool, right?

7. Lemons Wallpaper, $54 per panel (normally $68)

Okay, so this is NOT furniture, but if you don’t have the budget for a new dining set, I love (LOVE LOVE) the idea of adding a pop of sunshine with this cheery wallpaper. Keep costs down and just add a little bit as a backsplash or an accent wall.

8. Emily Isabella Seat Cushion, $19 (normally $32)

And here’s another affordable find: These sardine-print cushions from New York-based artist Emily Isabella are best paired with your BFF, a bottle of wine, and any chair. You can make believe you’re in Portugal all summer long.
