The Cutest Food-Themed Ornaments from Anthropologie’s New Holiday Collection
Right on cue, back-to-school season is over, and the holiday seasons has begun. That’s right — retailers are rolling out Christmas stuff! (Halloween was more of a June thing, we noticed?)
Today Anthropologie launched 160 holiday ornaments and decor items — and even more holiday dining and entertaining wares will be rolling out in the next few weeks. And because it’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas trees, we decided to round up some of the cutest, most good-enough-to-eat, food-themed ornaments. They’re all beautiful (and usually sparkly) in that classic Anthropologie way. Take a look.
We died a little over the realness of this everything bagel. The seasoning! The schmear! It just looks so yummy.
2. Italian Cookie Ornaments, $58 for six
This set comes with two thumbprint cookies, two Italian sandwich cookies, and two rainbow cookies. Of course, they’re each a little bigger than the real thing so that they don’t get lost on your tree.
3. Dog Biscuit Ornament, $10
Get one of these for yourself and then give Mr. Fluff Butt his own treat. It’s only fair.
4. Tea Time Ornament, $16
Available in a tea pot or a tea cup, these ornaments will officially be available on October 13. We’re partial to the tea cup, which looks a lot like the full-size tea cups Anthro sells. The tea pot is a little Alice in Wonderland, but that’s actually kind of a good thing!
5. Gingerbread Home Ornament, $24
No detail was overlooked with this gingerbread house ornament. The outside is decorated just like a real cookie cottage and the inside features a cute little snowy scene complete with a tree and presents.
6. Avocado Ornament, $14
This avocado is always perfectly ripe. And sparkly. Take note, Whole Foods!
7. Sparkling Toaster Ornament, $18
Got a friend that’s super into avocado toast? Pair this sparkly toaster with the avocado above and you’ve got the perfect gift. And it won’t cost you much more than if you took her out for the real thing.
