One of Our Favorite Induction Cookware Sets Is on Major Sale — but Only for Today!
That leftover turkey may be long gone, but a few post-Thanksgiving sales are still as fresh as ever. And you won’t want to miss this big sitewide sale from Anolon. The bakeware and cookware brand is offering a whopping 20 percent off everything (use code JOLLY), and that includes their nonstick skillets, holiday-ready bakeware, and, of course, their best-selling Nouvelle copper stainless-steel cookware set. In fact, the set is so good it made it to Kitchn’s list of the best cookware for induction stoves. And while it earned the distinction of being the best budget-friendly set, thanks to Anolon’s extended Cyber Day shopping deal, you can score it for on sale for $278.40 (normally $347.99)!
So what makes this cookware set so in-demand? For starters, it’s got a layer of copper inside the aluminum, making it a superior conductor of heat. And anyone who’s cooked on an induction stove knows that maintaining even heat is a challenge. You’re always moving things around to the hot side of the pan, watching pancakes burn on the left while they’re still practically raw on the right. But with this unique construction, that’s no longer a problem. Plus, you get everything you need to whip up a gourmet meal. And we do mean everything: two saucepans (1.25-qt. and 2.5-qt.) with lids, a stockpot (6.5-qt.) with lid, two frying pans (8-in. and 10.5-in.), and a sauté pan (3-qt.) with lid.
And while the price may be budget friendly, the design is anything but cheap. Thoughtful and elegant, these pans are simply well designed. The stainless handles are curved for a more comfortable fit and securely bolted to the base with two stainless steel rivets. That means you can forget about wobbly handles — especially handy since the pans are oven-safe up to 500° Farhenheit, so you won’t have grease splashing all over while moving pork chops from the stovetop to the oven. The fry pans boast flared sides that keep everything contained — but also give you plenty of depth for braising chicken or whipping up pad thai.
Best of all, they’re gorgeous, thanks to the gleaming stainless material. And although they’re ideal for induction, they can be used on any stove. As Lifestyle Director Lisa Freedman, who bought this set for her mother’s induction stove, said, “I get to cook with this stuff every time I go to visit and I’m impressed time after time. I have a gas stove and am considering getting myself a set, too.”
