An Unlikely Combination: Chocolate Meets Bone Broth
2015 turned out not to be as great a year for bone broth as originally thought, but a new collaboration between Brodo (a trendy bone broth storefront) and Morgenstern’s (a totally delicious ice cream spot in SoHo) might turn things around for bone broth for the last month of the year.
For the next couple months, Brodo’s menu will be featured at Morgenstern’s ice cream shop. They are also collaborating on two special drinks. The first, called “What Came First?” is a savory take on eggnog (organic chicken broth, grated nutmeg, and organic egg yolk). The second, called the “St. Nick,” is a take on hot chocolate (grass-fed gingered beef broth, chocolate, and coconut milk).
