James and Dom both love "cooking good food and building good stuff," so it should come as no surprise that their Chicago kitchen pays tribute to that. One wall is all open IKEA shelving (which they built), while the other is devoted to a huge pegboard that has lights behind it!
"I've never liked digging through drawers for tools, and wanted a wall that could truly house everything within reach," James tells Apartment Therapy. "A friend casually suggested lighting it from behind, and I never looked back. I don't think I could ever live without it."
The pegboard at night with the lights on!
That's some pretty impressive organization.
